Based on AnCor® technology, our teams have developed a photopolymerisable adhesive applicable to biological tissues.
It penetrates the outermost surface of biological tissue (50 to 100 µm).
Unlike the superficial adhesion of conventional adhesives, tissue anchoring achieves 9x greater adhesion compared to conventional adhesives.
It is activated by a calibrated UV light, with strictly controlled wavelength and irradiance, ensuring targeted and complete polymerisation.
This process is entirely safe: it respects the integrity of internal organs, causes no burns or necrosis, and adapts to all anatomical areas, including the most complex ones.
It undergoes rapid polymerisation (≈ 60 seconds) forming a solid and stable adhesive polymer.
This immediate reactivity is a strategic advantage in surgery: it enables effective closure in reduced time, reduces the risk of post-operative complications, and considerably simplifies the surgical procedure.
Result: a strong adhesion on wet biological tissue such as lung parenchyma, intestinal epithelium, and blood vessels.
