Health Biotech
Evidence and Awards
A health biotech dedicated to wound closure, COHESIVES is taking the science of healing to the next level. Thanks to AnCor®, our patented technology, we tackle the challenges that conventional adhesives fail to overcome. Reliable, fast and watertight, our technology anchors into living tissue to block leaks and complications. Validated by over 200 tests, backed by 20 patents, three public laboratories and France 2030, it is changing the game in wound closure.

World-class laboratories at our side
At COHESIVES, we move forward with the conviction that innovation cannot be improvised.
It is built at the frontiers of care and science, where the best public laboratories push the limits of what can be understood, modelled and repaired.
We have the privilege of collaborating with exceptional research teams, whose expertise informs our thinking, drives our technological choices and strengthens the rigour of our approach.
IS2M — Institute of Materials Science of Mulhouse
At IS2M, the world is explored at the molecular scale.
This laboratory is one of France's pillars in surface chemistry, polymers and interfaces. They study how materials interact, react, assemble, or conversely repel each other.
Through their multidisciplinary approach, they lay the foundations for intelligent materials capable of interacting with living tissue. Their expertise illuminates the challenges of biological tissue adhesion at a level that few institutions have mastered.

LVTS — Laboratory for Vascular Translational Science
The LVTS (Laboratory for Vascular Translational Science) specialises in chemistry, biology and materials for cardiovascular and tissue engineering and medical imaging, in collaboration with Bichat Hospital for clinical expertise.
Their teams combine biology, engineering and clinical studies to anticipate the body's reactions and decode its signals through a precise and rigorous approach.

LBTI — Laboratory of Tissue Biology and Therapeutic Engineering
The LBTI (Laboratory of Tissue Biology and Therapeutic Engineering) is a pioneer in the study of healthy and pathological tissues (skin, cartilage, teeth, cornea, mucous membranes) and in developing innovative therapeutic strategies with high potential for tissue regeneration and the delivery of therapeutic agents (pharma and cosmetics industry).
Here, we are not talking about inert matter: the work engages with the movement of life, the architecture of the body, the tissue's capacity to heal. This is where science meets clinical practice, and where materials take on a therapeutic function.
LBTI.ibcp.frThese partner laboratories remind us every day that rigour is not a brake on innovation, but the only credible path to building a safe, traceable and sustainable medical future.
At COHESIVES, every intuition is challenged.
Every advance is documented.
Every hypothesis is confronted with reality.
Institutional support: they believe in our technology, they accelerate our ambition, and we thank them for it.
At COHESIVES, we believe in joining forces.
The forces of science, industrial innovation... and territories that stand alongside those who want to change the game. Our technology does not emerge from an isolated laboratory: it grows thanks to a committed, demanding and visionary public ecosystem that supports us at every step.
National plan for strategic technologies
COHESIVES is a France 2030 award winner, a programme led by the French government with EUR 30 billion in government investment to develop tomorrow's strategic innovations. This major funding supports our most ambitious developments, specifically in: thoracic surgery (drain-free suture sealing) and next-generation cutaneous suture — rapid and atraumatic. This support confirms the strategic, industrial and medical significance of our technology.
Land of health innovation
We benefit from the active support of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, which makes the health sector a pillar of its innovation strategy. Through its R&D support schemes and deeptech structuring programmes, we have been able to accelerate our critical development phases.
Local roots, global impact
Based in Dijon, COHESIVES relies on a territory that bets on useful innovation. Dijon Métropole supports our growth, our expansion projects and enables our startup to thrive within a dynamic ecosystem, at the crossroads of life sciences, materials and clinical practice.
Thanks to them, we move faster, more precisely, more powerfully.
Our ambition does not remain theoretical: it becomes operational.
United forces drive healthcare innovation. And tomorrow, they will drastically improve patients' quality of life and save lives.
