Next-generation everyday bandage

Our first consumer product is based on the instant photopolymerisation of a liquid adhesive directly on the wound (cracks, cuts...).

Unlike conventional liquid films, AnCor® technology creates a waterproof, flexible and resistant bandage for 48 hours, even underwater.

Sealing surgical sutures (Surgical Sealant)

AnCor® Tech enables a solid, fast and safe closure of surgical sutures (organs, mucous membranes, blood vessels) to prevent leaks and post-operative complications.

Today, the priority of our teams is to develop a product dedicated to pulmonary suture sealing.

No adhesive currently on the market can perform an effective cutaneous suture. AnCor® technology is behind the development of the first device capable of replacing sutures to close skin atraumatically.

5x faster than a traditional suture, this process reduces handling and preserves skin integrity, with a significantly superior aesthetic result according to our preclinical data.

Designed for chronic wounds and non-suturable acute wounds, our Advanced Wound Care research project aims to develop a single-application bandage until healing.

The goal is to form a stable adhesive interface that promotes healing and protects weakened tissues over several weeks.

Our 1st OTC PRODUCT

An innovation ready to transform everyday care

Building on our AnCor® technology, we are currently developing a consumer medical device (OTC), designed to meet the needs of everyday skin healing: cuts, cracks, minor wounds.

This product is based on a unique photopolymerisable formulation, enabling rapid application, lasting adhesion and effective protection against moisture and external aggressions.

The first product from AnCor® is an OTC product that will be sold from 2026 in the United States and 2028 in Europe and Asia.

COHESIVES has signed an exclusive patent licence for AnCor® technology with a major player in the international OTC market. The industrial partner is handling the finalisation of development and product commercialisation.

This first OTC product marks the beginning of a broader deployment of AnCor® technology to the general public. It embodies our desire to democratise access to more effective, faster and better-tolerated healing, through a breakthrough innovation born from French MedTech research.

At COHESIVES, we are convinced that the future of surgery lies in devices that are closer to needs, more effective and simpler to use. It is in this spirit that we developed AnCor® Tech, a breakthrough innovation in the field of internal tissue adhesion and healing.

AnCor® tissue adhesion

An exclusive technology, designed for living tissues

Unlike conventional surgical adhesives, often ineffective on wet tissues, AnCor® anchors into the outermost surface of biological tissue by penetrating to a depth of 50 to 100 microns to create strong adhesion.

AnCor® does not just coat, it anchors.
It resists movement, moisture and physiological constraints.

Surgical suture sealing

Immediate sealing, optimised healing

Thanks to its photopolymerisable formulation, our adhesive transforms into a solid, watertight polymer film in just 60 seconds under UV light.

A first thin adhesive layer is applied to the sutured incision to seal it, then a second thin adhesive layer seals the whole. The surgical suture is watertight and protected, the surgeon's confidence reinforced.

Novacika®: our clinical proof on living, demanding and moving subjects

Novacika product

Even before entering the operating room, our technology has proven itself... on the most demanding care fields.

Novacika®, the first product developed and marketed by COHESIVES, is a synthetic epidermis spray, designed for the treatment of traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention in horses.

Far from being a simple veterinary detour, this product is a strategic milestone:

It demonstrates the robustness of our AnCor® technology under complex biological conditions.

It materialises a real use, clinically validated and appreciated by practitioners.

A unique solution,
designed to temporarily replace the epidermis

Novacika® temporarily replaces the epidermis, protecting the wound throughout the tissue regeneration process. Novacika® gradually falls off as the natural epidermis is reconstituted.

Once photopolymerised, the adhesive creates a synthetic adhesive film that:

  • Stabilises the wound
  • Prevents hypergranulation
  • Stops exudate flow and protects the wound from bacteria
  • Avoids any immobilisation
